NEW FIREARMS LICENSING FAQ

POPULAR QUESTIONS IN RELATION TO NEW FIREARMS LICENSING PROCESSES

Many of you just like myself are having difficulties completing the new firearms licencing application form for renewal of your firearm, all kinds and differant types of information are coming at us from all angles and it is only right that the Garda direct us and their staff who are processing the forms at local Garda stations on the correct way to complete the forms.

To this end an expanded question and answer section has been added to the Garda website and I have added  it to this page for your information and convenience.

The definitive guidelines on the new act will be published in the coming week on the Garda website, they will be emailed to all members when they become available, and this should see an end to speculation on all the aspects of the act including form filling.
